Once again I'm guilty of not bothering to update here except when I have something to complain about. So I've totally neglected to mention that Brian and I bought a house!  This got pushed up to sooner than we'd been thinking due to various reasons, the latest of which is that Brian's roommate's girlfriend and two kids moved in last month. Thanks, Barb. Yeah, so far things have gone as well as could be realistically hoped for with my dad, given the original prognosis. I hope that continues.
And with getting the house, it's been good to have something to focus on that, while stressful with moving and everything, is a good thing.

Thanks! As for "official", we've talked about it, it will most likely happen at some point, but there's not really any rush. Any definite plans will probably come when we've had some time to be really sure living together goes well. :p Maybe in a few more years.

And yeah, I really hope my dad continues to at least remain stable.
