In about 3 hours I will be in the same room as the godfather of underground comix, R. Crumb. I'm super stoked. This has only been a year in the making and it seemed like it'd never get here and now it's tonight! It's going to be interesting. He's an equal opportunity offender for sure. It was a great night. Crumb was nothing like I was expecting. He's very funny and self-depreciating. He's really rather charming. It was a very good time!

I'm so glad I took tomorrow off - after all day on Sunday, meetings/training on Monday, and then all day today and then the event - I'm exhausted. Plus the weather is supposed to be nasty in the morning. I will be sleeping.

I did, and I took tomorrow off to recover from the past few days. My foot and knee are KILLING me between the weather and these crazy events where I'm hemmed in a tight space that I can't stretch my leg out. My ankle actually is throbbing.

You definitely need room to stretch! You've got to remember that personal comfort is going to be important for a long while, because you're still healing.

I hope so too. I wisely took tomorrow off to recover from the hectic past week. I gave up my Sunday for work functions. I'm going to SLEEP and REST my ankle tomorrow!

Today was insane, but it's now over. I'm safe at home, warm in bed, medicine taken and ankle elevated. I took tomorrow off to try to recover from the last few days and the insanely hectic week before.

It was raining on the way home, but nothing like the downpours this morning. Traffic also wasn't bad at all. I was mostly all by myself which is how I like it when it's raining so hard.
