Saturday was such a waste of time

Nothing like six hours in the local emergency room to ruin one's weekend.

*hugs you*

What's it with people having to go to the hospital these days and why are the triage nurses such bitches??? Anyway, I'm glad to hear that your Dad is doing better and is all right. Regardless, my thoughts are with you both.

*hugs you again for good measure*

*hugs* Thanks.

I don't know what is up with all of that, but it's driving me crazy. I'd had a busy week at work and was looking forward to relaxing, but apparently it wasn't in the cards. Hopefully today I can get some rest.

Did you read my ficlet from the other day?

I agree with indigochild76, why are triage nurses sometimes so bitchy? Besides the fact that they have probably lost the love of their job ages ago. I'm glad to hear your dad is alright, and my grandpa has the same problem with vertigo as well. He was telling us that once he was in the shower and it hit him, not bad, but enough for him to have to hold on to the wall and such. Afterwards he went to the hospital, just to make sure and they gave him some medicine as well. I do hope he gets better, and hope you stay healthy in such brutal weather we hve *smites weather* *is in a smiting mood*. Ciao!

I have no idea, but it's a good thing I was preoccupied or else she would have caught the wrong end of my temper.

You would've slapped her 7 ways from Thursday. Either that.. or they would be short one nurse.

I don't think it would have been so bad if idiots didn't go because they had the sniffles. *eye roll*

Unfortunately we don't have one of those any where near Hopewell. It's the hospital or nothing until Monday.

very glad your dad is alright. i really have a strong dislike for hospitals. they are SO BLOODY SLOW (unless you say your chest is hurting) and the nurses are not very polite. i have a theory on it. nurses get treated bad sometimes by the doctors (for whatever reason) and they take it out on the patients. my other theory is that so many people go into nursing because it's a 4 year degree where they can make decent money, not because they care about people. we need more nurses that care about the people. (of course, i'd never want to be a nurse!)

My mum was a nurse, but that was back in the day when they were actually caring people. Now it's just a paycheck.
