yea i have been to emergency room more than i would like do, and it sucks a lot. too much. esp the time when i went because my pinky got chopped off then they just wrapped paper towel-mid you i was bleeding profusely- and just told me to wait there. i waited for an hour. then they couldnt peel the paper towel off my finger so they just basically tore it off.

THere was a guy there that had stabbed himself with a screwdriver and was bleeding all over the place. He was still waiting to be seen when we left - fours hours after we'd gone in the back to be treated.

Fortunately, it's not contagious. And I'd really not want that, trust me. It looked very, very unpleasant. But all is better now thank goodness.

My brother is going to take care of the hospital on Monday. I refuse to pay for the CT scan.

seriously. Tests that don't have any relavence, or are inaccurate due to hospital error shouldn't have to be paid for. I had someone mess up one of my blood tests a few months back, so to make it up to me for having to come back in, they gave me a free coffee to the hospital cafe, which really isn't that bad.

*huggles* ERs are no fun and worse when the triage nurse is a bitch (I think it must be a part of their training *smites them*). And a broken chair in the waiting room? That's just asking for trouble. Hope your dad is still doing okay *huggles*
