FINALLY!!!

What a weekend! Oh my! The first part of the bedroom overhaul is complete. The first major purging of stuff is done, a purge of books took place yesterday and the carpets were steam cleaned and the curtains washed. The nightstand didn't get built and is still in the living room in the box. Next weekend. One weekend at the time I guess.

Thanks!!! When I started shopping for beds I found that one by accident on ikea.com and well, no matter what else I looked at, I kept coming back to that bed. I got it for a steal too :) $249 for a metal queen size bed!

I am all about Pooh Bear!!! They are put away for now, but I have all kinds of little Pooh figurines and I have a pair of Pooh wine glasses :)

My old car used to be called Eeyore :)

Awwah, it's Joy Division. I went through a real heavy gothic period, but I still love them.

I got the bed at Ikea for $249. What I like about it is it's a platform bed so no need for box springs :)

And kitty is Tugar, my 15 year old baby.

15 years? My cat is 13 =) I had a 22 year old-- but she passed away, she was my grandma's cat and I had her for the last 3 years of the cats life. I loved that cat. *sniffle* Your cat looks like my sisters cat Milo--- Have you seen a picture of my baby kitty?

Awwww... such a cute kitty.. and where is Gustav? (I just realized that I have a family memeber named Gustavo, but we call him Gus) Alos, look at the icon I made for all of Urs' girls. Nice bed though.

Ialso have lots of stuffed animals on my bed, but mine's a futon, because it overtakes my room when it's down, Ikeep it up to sleep on, so all my furry friends sit nestled beteen the top of the matress and the wall, on the back part of it.
