By all means, every medium is represented... I'll just start with the most obvious one.

I'm pretty sure that all of you remember Brokeback Mountain - and how everybody loved it because it was about two gay cowboys. I saw it too of course, and except for a flock of very cute sheep and one shag I found it rather boring. It was hyped. Enormously so.

I wanna watch that movie!!!!
I liked Brokeback. The only thing I absolutely hated about it was their wives. Too much of the plotline is sacrificed to show their wives. I understand that it's necessary but I read the story and it's mostly Ennis/Jack and the wives are only mentioned.

I agree: they slowed the story down too much without adding a lot. Well, they did, but one family scene would have had the same effect as five, so to speak

Exactly! Guess they thought the movie would be too slashy without the wives.

If that was one of their concerns they should have built up the shagtastic sex scene a bit more psychologically, me thinks :)
