That's depressing because Clow isn't only saying good night DDDDDDD:

... ;-;

The fact Clow made Mokona-shaped sweets so often is worrisome. Because Watanuki also does -well, at least once, for Himawari. For me, that's a stronger argument for the Watanuki Is Related To Clow school of thought than "Oh, a boy with glasses like Clow woke us up!" Trufax.

Yeah, totally :/ Despite my "ee look they compared him to Clow" comment, I do think he's similar to him because of other stuff rather than just 'black hair and glasses'. His personality, the way he treats spirits, the way he's so kind, how he's awesome at house chores? All those remind me of Clow (and Eriol & Fujitaka) more :3

D'you want the HOLiC scans?

Got them already ^^

Well, I have the pet theory that Kyle is related to the Reeds for the lulz XD And mind you, it was before the "OMG what if Watanuki is Kyle!!1!" explosion. And there is no argument except for his looks (and how he posed in Chinese clothes recently with Xing Huo). But with Watanuki, there's this strong Kinomoto vibe, and not only with Fujitaka factors. Sometimes he has some Sakura or Touya in him.

True that, but I've seen more than one scanlation saying that shit. I think it's "let's ask my Japanese-speaking friends what this page says to them! and what their local publisher translated that as!" time... again x_x I hate my Ravenclawish anal retentiveness about wording.

Mind you, I didn't think the glasses think was proof or anything. It just set my Clow Derivates Senses tingling... like pretty much everything does. ^_^U

It's okay. I mean, I also have those senses and I've been worse. Like putting Kyle in the charts just because XP

I think it might be wiser to stick with the Seer Thing. CLAMP sometimes are worse than Rowling with timelines.

...You're getting animals drunk?!

I LOVE YOU THIS IS A SUMMARY OF THE ENTIRE BOOK. ♥♥♥♥♥

I was very enamored by the Clow/Yuuko interactions, and I'd bet the only reason she's so pissed at him at the start of Holic is because he decided to off himself, and turn into Fujitaka and Eriol. And because that's the sort of relationship they have.

I was going to bring arguments about how it's chronologically possible for Clow to be alive on a White Day, but then I discovered that in the 60's it was called Marshmallow Day and wasn't as generic.
Yeah, I thought White Day was from the 80's, and how long did Kero say he'd been sleeping? 30 years?

What gets me is that Clow must live within walking distance of Yuuko, so Watanuki lives (or dreams, I guess) within walking distance of Tomoeda? But then Yuuko's been that close to Kero and Fujitaka and Yuki and everyone throughout all of Holic? No. Right? What?

With Holic, I feel almost certain that Watanuki'll turn out just fine. Yuuko not so much, but Watanuki, definitely.

More like they're getting anyone drunk XP Except Yue, who's special.

Being angry at him for dying was the usual theory back in the days, but I think Yuuko is wise enough to understand and respect Clow's decision, or so I concluded with her serenity in the book's serious scenes. If she decided to be petty about it, it must've been years after he moved on, and because she was feeling lonely without her friend around or frustration for dealing so much with the fucking descendants while he's... reincarnated and shit. Or that's how I feel ( ... )

I think that's anime-only canon, because in my volume Kero never mentions any amount of years.

Neither does mine, and neither do the raws :D; I do remember the anime saying '30 years', though.. I wonder why they added that?

Because children who watch anime are too stupid to consider cute Kero-chan, who flails over pudding and plays videogames, older than them at least without being told? No clue. Madhouse had stranger add/removal choices after all.

LOL I love your summary as well. It really says a lot of things I never bother considering. I've given up already trying to understand those women. It's too depressing if it doesn't come out the way I want.

By the by, you can go by my journal to see the full translation already. Yeap, it's half past three in the morning and I'm already done. Call me crazy, I just HAD TO. XD

Also, I updated my profile so you can see my email adress if you want me to send you a full copy of my translation in and archive.

Gosh! I can't stop laughing at your views! I should go more often into the deranged theories area of my brain, the one I abandoned due to overexposure to CLAMP.

Um, sorry but I don't check translations of translations unless I have no choice. I'm just archiving Jamie's because it's the original. I'd never end if I were to link every translation in every language, because if I were to do Spanish I'd also have to do in French, German, and so on to be fair.

I'm glad you enjoyed this post, though ^^ I don't think it was that funny or thoughtful, more like long and tedious.

Oh, sorry. I didn't know. Sorry to bother.

I needed something else if you can tell me the order of the images in the book to make it complete. Also, I want to make the acknowledgements more complete, so tell me how you want to appear. And I will publish your page as well since there will be the original.

Is that OK with you?

Until I don't sit down and arrange it with the book in my hand, I have no way to tell. I'm sorry, but you'll have to wait for that.
