Mark's boss talked to him about his three month raise today. Not only is he going to be earning an extra $2.50/hour (which is totally unexpected -- we were thinking maybe an extra dollar, two if we were really lucky), but his boss is making it retroactive from the day he started! So, tomorrow, he can go pick up a bonus check (tax free) for $2.50

OMG thats great about the raise! WOOO! I really hope you get out of that place soon. It worries me that your stuck living in such a dump.

So, as for the wine, if you've not had wine before I will make a recommendation. I drink "Naked Grape Shiraz". It's an unoaked wine, so it goes down real easy. I seriously crave that stuff when I want a glass of wine.

So I bet all that over time and all that extra effort Mark made over the last 3 months has really paid off. I bet it feels great for him (and you too hun).

also Naked grape is like $8 a bottle day prices at the liquor board store. Not too shabby.

It worries me too. We should be able to afford a place now, it's just finding someone who's not a slumlord that is willing to rent to us. Well...hopefully it'll happen soon. I can't stand being here much longer.

For some reason, I can't drink alcohol anymore...the smell of it makes me really sick. sometimes I can stomach a sip or two of kahlua and milk, but other than that nothing. Mark just ended up getting himself a six pack and picked up some milk in case I wanted some kahlua (I still have some left over from his bday party in feb).
