And you can all thank veritas03. She lured me out of my hidey-hole with WAFFLES! Thank you so much, love. Goodness! They were covered with strawberries and CHOCOLATE! Well worth leaving my den of summer hibernation. *hugs

Yay!! It’s so good to hear from you. Thank you for coming out of your “hibernate-when-I-can” mood to post. Sorry for bugging you about it - I just missed seeing you around! And yay for you and your determination to help out the man who needs a particular kind of insulin. He’s lucky to have you in his corner! I’ll bet your garden is driving you crazy - I know how much enjoyment you derive from cultivating it. Yes - careful of the heat! The heat index here has been around 105 - it’s probably hotter where you are. I’ve got to sand a piece of furniture to get it ready for re-painting. I’m planning to do it tomorrow - in the morning when it’s not as warm. Thanks again for posting! I promise not to bug you again. For a while… *hugs you*
Ugh! This time of year, the only things I do outside after 10:00 a.m. is either walk from the house to the car or walk from the car to whatever building I've arrived at. Too damn hot for anything else. I think our heat index was around 113 yesterday. *melts*
Feel free to bug me any time I've been quiet for more than a few days. I knew I needed to post at least something but kept telling myself I'd do it later. LOL Sometimes I just need a kick in the pants. :D
The garden is driving me bonkers. And I didn't get to work on it this morning. Had to go pick my car up from the repair shop. (My AC had been out since Memorial Day and I finally got it fixed!) As it is now, I hate even looking at the garden. Kinda hard not to, though, when it's right there in the front yard. Now it'll have to be put off until this weekend when I'm determined - determined, I tell you - to get make some progress with it.
Patient Assistance programs are a wonderful thing, and highly unadvertised. When I worked at the clinic two years ago, I had about 20 patients

LOL That's where the addiction to clicky computer games comes in. I sit here, click-click-click and my brain completely shuts down. And I went shopping this morning!! SHOES!! Four pair! *hides* I haven't treated myself to a shoe binge in ages.
