Ugh! This time of year, the only things I do outside after 10:00 a.m. is either walk from the house to the car or walk from the car to whatever building I've arrived at. Too damn hot for anything else. I think our heat index was around 113 yesterday. *melts*

Feel free to bug me any time I've been quiet for more than a few days. I knew I needed to post at least something but kept telling myself I'd do it later. LOL Sometimes I just need a kick in the pants. :D

The garden is driving me bonkers. And I didn't get to work on it this morning. Had to go pick my car up from the repair shop. (My AC had been out since Memorial Day and I finally got it fixed!) As it is now, I hate even looking at the garden. Kinda hard not to, though, when it's right there in the front yard. Now it'll have to be put off until this weekend when I'm determined - determined, I tell you - to get make some progress with it.

Patient Assistance programs are a wonderful thing, and highly unadvertised. When I worked at the clinic two years ago, I had about 20 patients getting their medications through these programs. It was a hell of a lot of paperwork, but highly rewarding for me. After the now ex-office manager got rid of me, they stopped doing Patient Assistance through the clinic. As soon as I got back on board, I told the owner that I wanted to get it going again once I got the front desk under control. This is a little sooner than I'd hoped to get started on it, but he really does need this insulin.

Ugh! Sanding anything is sweaty, dirty work. Good luck!
