Amazon is sneaky
I really think its free shipping for (qualified) orders over $25 was a stroke of genius. Bad, bad genius. Because now my goal is almost always to spend at least $25. I found a DVD I wanted tonight. $7.99. Do I just order the darn thing and pay the shipping and handling? No, I do not.
