Someome paid me a very great compliment yesterday. I'd like to hope that I live up to such expectations, and that I can continue to do so.

I volunteered to come in for four hours today... helping another area catch up a bit. It's ... well, I would say quiet, but the other three people here are chatterboxes... :P

The cheetah watch has finally paid off. I keep checking the web cams at the Nat'l Zoo... for months now. Finally, I have seen one of the cheetahs. Just lazing about, turning occasionally in the sun. Awww....

Yesterday was a nice day. After being good, foodwise, for most of it, however, we went out strictly to have desert. Usually, by the time an appetizer, or salad and soup and the main meal is done, we've no room for dessert. I can't even imagine anymore being able to eat that much all at once.
