it was a really instructive chapter,at the beginning i was a little lost because i didn't know what is a "safewords" since i'm french and our designation is different,but then i search on the net the definition and i read an interesting analysis about BDSM which make me realize all the hard work you have to do to manage to write a story concerning such a uncomfortable theme with so much fineness tolerance clearness and temperance

To be honest - I was a bit frustrated myself, I've always wanted to write a restroom-blowjob-scene! But I like the idea that in some way House is using his own kind of safe word, because there was something going on that HE was uncomfortable with. No worries, I'm planning on letting them have some kind of sexual activity - actually, I think it will happen "today" as in the day we are currently at in story!
Oh and I'm happy to see that you read up on the topic and still like the story! I'm in no way an expert and I'm sure a lot of this is pretty off and wouldn't happen that way in reality. I've been reading about this topic since I was 13, which means for about 5-6 years now, but pretty much all I know is theoretical. I hope nobody takes any of this as somehow possible or common in that scene..

The vortex of Chase's contrasting emotions, doubts and insecurities is intriguing and you're doing a great job displaing Chase's inner turmoil: I'm far more interested in those analisys than actual sex scenes between these two :)
I'm glad that House was so angry because I think that only when you really care about someone you can be mad at them if their actions could hurt them: House could take advantage of Chase's vulnerability in a blink of an eye if sex was his only goal. But why was House also sad? Was he sad for Chase because he realized that the young man could be easily hurt emotionally as well as physically by everyone and maybe he was in the past? Or because he realized that Chase's refusal (or incapability)to fully understand and accept himself prevented him from having a real and happy relationship so far? I'd love to know more about House's pov :)

It's very hard not to throw in some House POV, because there is so much in House's head that I would love to write down, but I challenged myself to keep this Chase-centric, I already screwed up some because I just HAD to write those House/Wilson scenes, because some of House's thoughts HAD to come out somehow ^^

These past couple chapters are great! (I was away for a couple weeks an fell behind in reading, but I still love this fic) I really like the slow progression, very realistic. and I love the lupus list. I can just see them getting a lupus patient and Chase saying something like, "This time it has to be Lu... umm... you know..." Anyways i cannot wait to read more!
