it was a really instructive chapter,at the beginning i was a little lost because i didn't know what is a "safewords" since i'm french and our designation is different,but then i search on the net the definition and i read an interesting analysis about BDSM which make me realize all the hard work you have to do to manage to write a story concerning such a uncomfortable theme with so much fineness tolerance clearness and temperance.
i was a little frustrated when i saw that the promised hot scene was going nowhere and getting interromped but when house explained everything i understood that this situation was essential for the sake of your scenario,before going further and deeper in their physical relationship you had to make sure that their psychological bound and reciprocal state of mind were on the same wavelenght.
in this kind of "game" it's really important that the protagonists are well aware of the rules and above all consenting and reassured,Chase is like a vulnerable child and House is helping him in his way to gain confidence in order for Chase to be able to protect himself in front of the outside world,it's not all about sex but also a kind of therapy that House is exercing on Chase,and i really like how much House is opening more and more his soft side to Chase ;)

To be honest - I was a bit frustrated myself, I've always wanted to write a restroom-blowjob-scene! But I like the idea that in some way House is using his own kind of safe word, because there was something going on that HE was uncomfortable with. No worries, I'm planning on letting them have some kind of sexual activity - actually, I think it will happen "today" as in the day we are currently at in story!
Oh and I'm happy to see that you read up on the topic and still like the story! I'm in no way an expert and I'm sure a lot of this is pretty off and wouldn't happen that way in reality. I've been reading about this topic since I was 13, which means for about 5-6 years now, but pretty much all I know is theoretical. I hope nobody takes any of this as somehow possible or common in that scene..
