Me and my good friend Dan Greuel will be doing the first ever Drink the Tank Challenge. Two men, one five liter water heater, making lots of tea till the tank runs dry. 5pm tomorrow. We may, probably will have it streaming online for people to watch. Watch this space for more information. -
Cheap Thrills: Red Steel 2
Well, after owning the first Red Steel and just recently beating it, I decided to get the "sequel". In reality, this game did away with pretty much everything from the original. Almost everything but the name and the concept of sword and guns in first person are ditched.

Not the same. . .
I've been feeling strange lately. After church this Sunday I felt like a piece in my life fell back in place and I was moving again. I felt an impetus for many of the things I had left off on for a while. I feel good and right in certain, um, decisions from a few years ago. I'm genuinely more optimistic. Just watched Scott Pilgrim vs The World. I must say that I had my reservations since it was a movie based on the great graphic novel series. However, I must say I was pleasantly surprised. They managed to get a lot of the original books' story, jokes, and feeling ( Read more... ) -
On the subject of zombies . . .
I won't lie, the thought of a zombie fills me with pleasure. Me and a colleague (oh, HI Mark) have talked at length about how amazing just a scenario would be. I think much of this stems from the moral unambiguity of zombies. The human they were is dead. There is no concideration for them as they have no consciousness. How hard could it be . . .
So I decided to ride the Miller Lite Ride For The Arts. And while that's all well and good, I decided to ride the 75 mile(120km{60,923 leatherback turtle}) ride. Even that's not TOO bad, but I'm riding a new bike that dosen't quite work with my previous riding style. Needless to say, half way through I could barely walk and my pelvis hurt like ( Read more... )
