How hard could it be . . .

So I decided to ride the Miller Lite Ride For The Arts. And while that's all well and good, I decided to ride the 75 mile(120km{60,923 leatherback turtle}) ride. Even that's not TOO bad, but I'm riding a new bike that dosen't quite work with my previous riding style. Needless to say, half way through I could barely walk and my pelvis hurt like hell. So, after resting for a half an hour and eating several bananas(they're good for potassium), I painfully got back on my bike and rode on. As I approached fifty miles, I was getting tired of under maintained country roads and strange unfamiliar roads. As I passed ten miles left, I knew I would finish(as I did have the option of making a detour and going home, 6 miles short of the 75[69 miles]). As I pulled into the finish, I felt successful, tired, sunburned, gritty from dried sweat, and quite hungry. Now, two days later I'm feeling all better and I should be more prepared to go the 100 miles to either Chicago or Madison.

In other news, I'm addicted to Starbucks green tea lattes. Hating my new boss(6 store managers in five years and I'M STILL THERE!). I've been neglecting doing 3D work, including my portfolio. It's technically done, but I want improve a few things. So that's that for now.

how hard could it be, bike, work
