you can change your view on the top of your friends page to check out journals only if the community gets too overwhelming. i didn't join holiday wishes this year, since last year i sent out about 7 gifties and only got 1 of about 5 that people were supposed to send. :o( i didn't even get thank yous for most of what i sent either. overall, the online wishes ended up being much more fulfilling.

I asked for simple stuff this year. I have a lot of promises of stuff, so far. A few folks did send me icons and sent me links to their sites where I can download music.

I must admit that last year, the best gift I got was to know you. :-) Friendship lasts longer than a gift. :-)

friendship is a gift that lasts and is much more meaningful than stuff. I also really liked hearing from people who answered my questions, in fact that's how i met you :-D
