We had such a useless conversation,
it was motivated, it was heated
about things that don't matter

The level of pride
is not something you care to hide
Musta been something you went through 
something locked deep inside
That's what it is,

I steer clear 
right from the get go

I want to be among the amazing artists,
jazz musicians, 4 piece quartets,
session artists, producers,
arrangers, engineers,
songwriters, pop artists,
pianists....I want to be one of them.

I didn't always want to be the guy
the thing, the it, the star
