IT IS LIKE A FASHIONABLY FURNISHED OPIUM DEN. I ... can't make myself leave and go clean. Can't! It's horrible, haha. And I've de-anoned by accident so many times that I'm just giving up for the most part. XD

Sometime soon I must get off my ass (or, actually ... stay on it?) and do a proper House of Leaves crossover. It'd mostly be for my own amusement, of course, but the results would be deliciously terrifying for all! And, mmm, terror.

A ha ha, this is delightfully dark. This: “Shame about your captain,” Nero said, and his eyes were frigid and inverted, a glimpse of the ocean floor. McCoy angled the lantern to make him narrow them, look away, but it didn't seem to bother him at all. “Sad. That he had to die so slowly. In the night.” made my stomach flip over. I love your McCoy.

I'm holding off on continuing my squee at the archive comm, knowing that I'd just end up splitting the conversation three ways (h-how do I accomplish these things, haha), so I will attempt to contain myself here with the following:

This one in particular, there was actually going to be more ... wryness to it; and then it just sort of stumbled off into darkfic territory and I thought: well. Well, I'm writing about cannibalism anyway.

Finally, mmffgfkfjg, thanks for mentioning McCoy. Thank you so much. Previous to the reboot, I couldn't write him to save my life. This ... is a milestone for me, I can't even tell you. XD

Boooones. McCoy is my favorite because he's so grouchy but above all else he cares deeply about the well-being of everyone around him, even his enemies, and I thought you nailed that.

Aaaanyway. I have a couple of delicious-troubleshooting PMs to work through so I'd best get on that. Do not be alarmed if I friend you! :p
