ave seen Scott Pilgrim vs the World. Best movie I saw all day. Everything about it was perfect.

Just finished watching The Runaways, the rock biopic about the band. The actresses were excellent in their roles, but the narrative was weak and boring. It also can't be called a biopic on the band because only two of five members were given significant screen time. I saw a great heartwarming movie today. It was about a small group of people in the woods who aren't physically attractive but are brought together by their love of hunting. I've never watched lost, but the fact that the ending left so many things unexplained (i.e. rendered so many events seemingly pointless) seems to have justified my total disinterest. I was going to feel sympathetic toward my friends who are fans, but it seems they enjoyed it. I'm glad it worked for them. Maybe the article I read was off-base in ( Read more... )
