That's why I haven't done this one... I start coming up with a list and then take a look at it and, well, I'm not sure that it really fits the requirements, rather than just being a list of movies I really like.

Especially since I'm only sure I've seen three of these movies, and possibly two more. "Response cloudy -- try again later"?

I've been trying to think of movies that define me, and it's hard. I could probably find ten that were hugely influential favorites when I was a kid, but do they really define me in my "current incarnation"?

Of course it's possible that the movies I saw as a kid had a greater impact than any I've seen since, but that's kind of sad, too.

I've always thought that anything you experience as a kid has a greater effect. Kids haven't built up such an entrenched self-image as we have once we're older.
