May I humbly suggest a little British sci-fi program called "Primeval"? Dinosaurs, time travel, logic and decent writing. Each of the 5 Series improves upon the one before :)

I gave Terra Nova a shot, because I do enjoy a good dino show, but it utterly failed to grab me.

I'd also add that the CGI in Primeval's Series 4 & 5 was much better than Terra Nova's.

Danny's story wrapped up the end of Series 4 (and I wasn't too keen on how his story ended either), but Series 5 was really awesome.

I do like the show, but I totally get what you're saying. I really have to suspend all disbelief when I watch.
