I agree with you. And if I wrote Spuffy regularly, I'd sign up for sure. Sadly, I only had a Spuffy muse for the time it took to write Come Puring Down Unified. But I wish you and everyone else loads of feedback!

I am a little skeptical about how many of the people who've posted that meme are really deeply concerned about political dissent in Russia

Yeah, the two people on my flist who actually care pretty fucking deeply about political dissent in Russia wouldn't touch that shit with a 10-foot pole. This whole ridiculous and contrived TWO HOUSES BOTH ALIKE IN DIGNITY crap between LJ and DW is pretty irritating. If I wanted to be embroiled in whiny internecine squabbles all day, I'd join an actual political comm.

And yes, moving Seasonal Spuffy wholesale seems pretty unnecessarily reactionary to me. Are they going to at least crosspost?

There's an RSS feed set up, and I think that the option of the mods manually crossposting links is under discussion. Unfortunately, you can't set up a community to crosspost automatically the way a personal journal can.

I can't be doing with reading at two places, so I've got the RSS feed going on, because I NEED my Spuffy fix...

Wish I'd checked the bit where Dreamwidth automatically puts a tick in the box for "notify me when someone posts by email" though. I had several pages of emails to archive when they populated the new home!
