I'd picked up a bunch of basil at the farmer's market this morning, knowing that I wanted to make a vegetarian lasagne today. I did add a bunch of basil leaves to the lasagne, but still had a LOT of basil left over. Enter impromptu pesto with a kick, to save in the fridge for a you-want-me-to-do-how-much-overtime-now? weeknight. Add less garlic
