THERAPY BAG

What in the everloving shit?!

When I saw that this was about improper punishment in school, my mind went to things like paddling, hitting with belts, etc. Things that, while fucking awful, were in the least "acceptable" decades ago. Tying up a kid in a duffel bag and shoving him out in the hallway? Doesn't even have that excuse. That's... that's what you do to a fucking dead body, not a kid. D:

Oh hell naw. It wasn't the first time?

No. NO. NOOOOOOOOOO.

Autistic is not synonymous with sub-human.

My kidlet falls somewhere on the spectrum, and she can definately be a frustrating handful. HOWEVER. Some asswipe gets the idea that it's therapeutic to put her in a duffel bag or a closet is gonna find out how therapeutic a natural born beatdown is.

I fall on the spectrum too and I was a bit of a handful as a kid but I did at least get a lot of dignity in my treatment from both my teachers and parents. I also sort of outgrew some of the behaviors too, which makes me think that, well, kids are kids and they're going to be pretty rambunctious most of the time.

I've seen videos and documentaries about autism showing that the kids screaming and wailing and nothing else, as if that's what autism is, but I've seen a lot of this out of most all kids I met.

What kind of teacher...no, strike that, what kind of human being could think it was a good idea to put a child in a fucking duffel bag?
