Going to the epilogue next, but this bit made me smile:

Jim automatically tried to copy him (forgetting his unfortunate attempts from earlier) and ended up with some sort of convoluted hand gesture that he sincerely hoped didn’t mean anything profane, because that could be awkward.

And I admire Uhura's generosity of spirit.

Thank you! Angst and humor are an odd balance, but I'm glad to see it was maintained. :) And Uhura is one special lady.

He is a wonderfully meddling yenta and I love him for it. Guh. This is so perfect, I don't have words for it. *runs off to the epilogue*

without exclusive permission from both us

"of" missing between "both" and "us"

echoing through another mans mind

man's

help from a certain Vulcan Ambassador

missing period at the end of this sentence.

He wouldn't be Prime if he didn't meddle! He risked the Earth itself to put K and S together, he ships K/S dammit, I know it!!!

And thank you, I fixed those errors!

I will pause to speak beore moving to the epilogue, as is my way.
This was a fantastic finale, a wonderful read for my lunch hour. Commentary while reading:
Can you write spin-off fic about T'Sai? Please? Pretty please? I love her.

If it was possible to send love, a whole lifetime of it somehow acquired in the span of just ten days, bottled up and condensed, that was what Jim did.
It makes me all fuzzy inside!!!!

“I have been, and always shall be, your friend,” Jim told him. “In all walks of life - and all those to come.”
WAHOO! I LOVE YOU!

Also, regarding Spock's bright toothy smile.... I was just watching Amok Time again and Spock's smile at the end when he sees Jim is alive.... It's just the greatest thing EVER. I mean, I went back and watched that smile twice and was like "man, anyone who doesn't see the Spirk is clearly smoking crack"

The Vulcan seemed to realize belatedly that he had, indeed, been heading somewhere, and reached out with an unnaturally stiff motion to key in a destination.Heh, I love the subtleness of ( ... )

I am planning to write a bit more about T'Sai - there was actually a lot of interest in a (young)Spock reveal about the Tarsus storyline, and to be honest, it's an idea I've warmed up to a lot... so I'm thinking I might include a couple things in a one-shot spin-off of Breaking Points, and T'Sai should be in there. We'll see how it goes...

That was such a last minute line, the "I have been..." but damn, I think it really worked out! Also, inner Bones is jut... too good for words! Thank you, as always, for your thoughts, and for the details in your review! :}

I almost cried when you revealed that Spock Prime had never had his Kirk in that way, and that he was doing this for his counterparts so they wouldn't make the same mistake he made. I feel so incredibly sorry for him, and it still hurts me that his Kirk is gone. It was really well written, though.

I've glad it had such an effect on you. :) I had a hard time writing it, and I planned it from the start! I really think it gave Prime a sense of tragic irony that was really necessary!

“I have been, and always shall be, your friend,” Jim told him. “In all walks of life - and all those to come.”

This line almost killed me. Spock Prime as a guardian angel, woohoo! Totally believable. Reboot-wise, he's the character trying to fix all of his mistakes; and it makes sense that he'll also 'fix' this.

This fic gets better and better with reread. Chapter 10 is spectacular. I really love your Kirk voice and how's he found the right words that are meant to be reassuring and hopeful and waaah you make me really love Kirk and the rest of the gang. And Uhura, being the awesome woman that she is.

I think Jim's biggest shine is that he is, at the heart, very Human - flawed, imperfect, and yet somehow better for all that. And sometimes he just gets it so, so right... like that line there to Prime, which made him smile. It made me do D'aw! to write it!
