So. Here we are. The end of The End of Time. Is this mixture of feeling total dread, but still being excited to see a new episode what people who watched Doctor Who in the 60s/70s/80s felt when their Doctors were regenerating?
*sigh* Once again, so many spoilers in this post that Galactus could mistake it for a planet and EAT IT.

I’m so not ready. Can we just have an extended (read: full-season-long) flashback a lá those-in-the-middle-of-fights-in-shonen-anime before Part Two starts? Please? You could totally use the novels & comics as filler episodes... *sniffle* )

You know, I didn't cry the first time I watched it, but from the second time on I did. I dunno. I'll reserve my thoughts on Matt Smith's two-minutes-including-the-trailer as the Doctor for another post. Just marathoned the entire 5th season of Lost in less than a week, so I don't quite have enough brain left to do it just yet. And there was too a Dalek! Sure, it was only in a flashback of Adelaide's, but it was there. Besides, I think I saw that Moffatt's using them in one of his first episodes as head writer, so it wouldn't really be fair to him if they'd shown up here. You know that despite how often they show up, and the fact they're supposed to be almost as much of an archenemy as the Master is, the Daleks have never actually managed to off the Doctor even once (with the ( ... )
