So. Here we are. The end of The End of Time. Is this mixture of feeling total dread, but still being excited to see a new episode what people who watched Doctor Who in the 60s/70s/80s felt when their Doctors were regenerating?
*sigh* Once again, so many spoilers in this post that Galactus could mistake it for a planet and EAT IT.

I’m so not ready. Can we just have an extended (read: full-season-long) flashback a lá those-in-the-middle-of-fights-in-shonen-anime before Part Two starts? Please? You could totally use the novels & comics as filler episodes... *sniffle* )
You know, I didn't cry the first time I watched it, but from the second time on I did. I dunno. I'll reserve my thoughts on Matt Smith's two-minutes-including-the-trailer as the Doctor for another post. Just marathoned the entire 5th season of Lost in less than a week, so I don't quite have enough brain left to do it just yet. And there was too a Dalek! Sure, it was only in a flashback of Adelaide's, but it was there. Besides, I think I saw that Moffatt's using them in one of his first episodes as head writer, so it wouldn't really be fair to him if they'd shown up here. You know that despite how often they show up, and the fact they're supposed to be almost as much of an archenemy as the Master is, the Daleks have never actually managed to off the Doctor even once (with the possible exception of Eight, because everyone still knows fuck-all about what really went down in the Time War)? There's even a macro about it. Plus, as someone points out in the comments, they've not only failed to kill him, but ended up creating another Doctor the last time they tried, so they really suck at it.
The girl is Chiyo-chan from Azumanga Daioh, a.k.a. that show that half of the AMV Hell series is made of. And speaking of people whose identities may cause you confusion, who the hell do you think the woman in white was?

And I'm pretty sure we already established that a PW-crossover (or at least PW-style) Doctor Who game would be the most awesome thing ever.

And things after 10 are still censored, but they can get away with a lot more than things that air at 8 or 9. Fox stations go to local news at 10, so it'd be even more limited than it could be if it was on NBC or something where it'd at least get the option of being able to air later.

Did they finally sort out him getting a part on that? Know he's been talking about wanting to be on it or being asked to be on it for months, but I'd never heard anything concrete happened. Julie Benz is guest starring right now. Went from Dexter** to playing a (ex-?)stripper that Teri Hatcher's character is helping for some reason that I wasn't paying attention to missed, so... yay Julie? Maybe? The guy who played Paul is now on Lost, btw.
**leave out spoilers for that here in case there's someone besides the two of us looking at this who doesn't know yet. Prefer to only spoil one tv show (and its two spin-offs in this case) per post. Annoys the hell out of me when I go to something labeled as one thing, then get a completely unrelated thing spoiled without warning too, so I try not to do it to other people.
