Haha, you used your incantation-chanting Gokudera icon for this too. xDD
I don't know if it's quite survival horror, but the malevolent spirit-leftover bits do qualify for the paranormal category. It's pretty much a boy searching for other people in a sort of desolate post-apocalyptic world (or rather, a desolate post-apocalyptic Japan, it looks like) in which humanity is rather scarce. Except of course he winds up not taking surface routes and instead going underground through a deserted, ruined subway station which means lots of darkness and lots of "oh god a lot of people must have died in here holy cow why are there so many Thought Entities hiiiieeeeeee"
*is huggled* It might help to have you peering over my shoulder while I'm playing the game. I might be able to actually keep going when it gets really dark in-game. XD
This game sounds like pure WIN. It's for the Wii? ...darnit, PS3 ate a large chunk of my savings... >< I'd still love to see you playing this, being all Tsuna-i-fied. XD
I-I... really want to steal read the doujin you bought, especially the one you described. I can just picture the two of them as kids, being absolutely (uselessly) adorable. <3 <3 <3 <3 <3
Yup, for the Wii! XDD I should have you and hagane_no over to keep me from chickening out too far to keep going. xDD I got down to a subway platform and went "hiiieeeee!!" at the growling noise I heard from the Wiimote (I'm guessing it's not a Thought Entity, but some kind of animal) and fled back to the last save point so I could turn it off and feel semi-accomplished. xDD
I should totally scan the anthology, just for the sake of sharing the cute. They are such cute kids. Cotton Candy and Mameshiba both did cute stories, and Type-SK put a Kaibutsu Tsukai Tsuna spin on the whole "kids" theme and I went "eeee so cute why so cute ♥♥♥"
So yes. I should share the cute. I'll put it on my to-do list. :)
Oh, oh, is it that game with the shiny girl thing ? I think I saw a teaser for it and it looked beautiful ! ... It didn't look scary though, damn lying teasers... ... Somehow I want it even more now even though I was scared out of my wits by rats and cockroaches in Twilight Princess...
Anyway, hold on there, don't die of fright. xD (God but games can be evil...)
The rats in Twilight Princess were creepy. :V Also, I don't remember any cockroaches unless you mean the light-bugs or whatever the heck they were, but RL cockroaches scare the bejeezus out of me so, um. I don't think you'd do any worse than me. xD
If you mean a girl with white hair and a dark blue dress that is tied together but bares a lot anyway because it's only tied together when you say "shiny girl thing," then yes, we are probably thinking of the same game. :D
I'll try my best not to die of fright. That would be inconvenient. XDD
I've been using the cute as a sort-of antidote to the "eek I'm frightened" bit. xDD It doesn't work very well if I go back for more but it's cute enough that I forget for the moment that I was scared previously. ♥
Yes. Word. And the huge light-bugs, too, and the INVISIBLE GHOSTS STUFF urgh. No but there were cockroaches that crawled all over you in some cave-like dungeon, can't remember which one. They were just like the rats except they didn't even hinder you. They weren't there to do anything. Just... crawl all over you. F*******ck. DD:
Uh, possibly. All I remember about the girl is thinking "ooh, shiny." and possibly also "ooh, fanservice." So maybe xD I'll just google it. I really love post-end-of-the-world things...
