I was heading north up to Lafayette today and I have a tendency to drive slowly (around 45 mph) in order to save gas, so I was not surprised to see someone right on my tail. You should see what it's like when a hurricane comes through SW Louisiana, with everybody hurrying to get to a motel room first. It gets jammed up all the way to Houston.

I'm really hoping that Irene tacks further east. It would avoid at least three of the eight plagues. You know: Floods, fires and fundamentalists. :)
