I was heading north up to Lafayette today and I have a tendency to drive slowly (around 45 mph) in order to save gas, so I was not surprised to see someone right on my tail. What surprised me, however, was the appearance of the driver. She drove a canary yellow VW bug (old style), and she was wearing sunglasses with lenses the size of her face. She reminded me of a giant bee back there, with her hand on her horn. Ignoring the other northbound lane completely, she glared at me through her bee-glasses and leaned on her horn mouthing words at me. I imagine they were something along the lines of "YYYooouuure not going fast enough, yourenotgoingfastenoughyourenotgoing fastspeed up speed up SPEED UP!" BUZZ BUZZ BUUUUUUUZZ!!
I slowed down to thirty-five and turned on my hazard lights. She finally got the hint after two minutes and took the other lane. I still have no idea why she didn't in the first place. It's not like traffic was heavy.
