The second week of school is underway and I will say things are going fairly well. Last week had a lot of excitement...including one thing that was especially exciting ;-). I can't believe it but yes it is true. I was offered a pretty big part in an upcoming play Jim is in...it actually opens in like a week. A cast memeber quit at the last minute. I'm going home over labor day so i'd miss over half of the remaining rehearsals until opening...not to mention while I might be experienced I don't think I could learn ( Read more... )

So Nick Johnson Fest did end up happening..thanks to Lisa and Lindsay who were able to book a pavillion in Herritage Park. Our set went alright but was kinda sloppy since the band before us stripped us down just to one mic...ugghh. Oh well...it will be different when we have our own show ( Read more... )

Nick Johnson Fest 2006 has been officially cancelled (or at least postponed until future notice) due to a power outage at Serendipity. Sadly, the power will not return until Thursday, a day too late. This is disappointing...we sounded great last night at the last practice.
