i have no shame in admitting i'm addicted to my tv. (before the new season starts i should probably make a post with all the tv shows i'll be following, and the ones i've given up.) plus, there are always old series to get caught up on, and movies to see...point is, i spend a lot of my time in front of a tv or computer screen. and though i love my ( Read more... )

Those are so cute! I love the little turtle =)

I never managed to get hooked on knitting, I started with a scarf, but got bored with how long it was taking, lol.

aw, thanks!

that's actually the great thing about the toys- they go really fast! the only trick is learning to increase and decrease, but i didn't have too much trouble learning.

Wow... I can't believe you just started knitting! I learned years ago but still haven't progressed past the scarf, lol.

The toys are really cute, and the shirt is really impressive. ^_^

okay, so "just started" was kind of a lie... i learned to knit in maybe 6th grade, i don't remember when, but i never learned to purl. and it's not impossible to knit cute stuff without purling (actually the blue bird pattern doesn't use any purling), but it's much, much easier to do stuff if you can.

aw, thanks! the shirt is actually easier, i think- most of it was the same stitch over and over...i definitely watched a couple movies while making it. : )

haha, thanks! the shirt is the best pattern i've found so far by a LOT. like, i should be making other things but i haven't found any relatively easy patterns i like half as much.

also, did you click on the links to the fangirl-y crochet (each word links to a different image)? because you of all people would appreciate the projects especially!

I DID and OH MY GOODNESS, there is not enough capslock in the world to fully express my fangirly joy. ten's hair has got fringe! it sticks up! this is an amazing wonderful thing.
