Tonight, I'm pretty much uninspired when it comes to dinner ideas. I'm tired, nothing really sounds good... Actually, a hamburger does. That sounds very delish :) With homemade fries? Mmmm... yeah. So not happening ( Read more... )

LOLOL!!!! A Twinkie Dog! And I thought my missions team was the one who invented that! Haha. In highschool, every summer I went on a missions trip to the inner city of LA and the first year one of the guys made "Twinkie Dogs"--that became the popular thing. So every year we (but not me ;-)) had Twinkie Dogs and Ding Dong burgers. LOL Totally grossed out the pastor, but it was great fun, although I never ate one. The thought of the whipped creamyish stuff with mustard and "meat" wasn't too appealing.

Oh the memories... Thanks for the link though. LOL

Twinkie dogs = GROSS. I don't like twinkies or hot dogs. Blech.

Tuna cheesy ramen... I actually had something like that the other night. Canned chicken, creamy chicken ramen, a splash of Worstershire sauce, jarred spaghetti sauce, and a liiiiiiittle bit of cheese. It was pretty good, actually. I got the recipe from this site I've been obsessed with lately.

Totally. I can't stand either.

Ooh, see the dif between tuna & chicken is huge :-) I cannot stand the hot fishy tuna smell. It grosses me out. But chicken & with the other ingredients you mentioned? Yeah, that sounds pretty good + cheap :)

I had some friends over tonight and we made shrimp tacos and bean dip. It was quite delicious, and I don't think it cost terribly much. Plus, the extra been dip can be reheated.

The other half bought organic sloppy joe sauce and cooked it with ground turkey with a wheat bun. Not too shabby, I didn't even notice that it was ground turkey.
