I celebrated my 50th birthday today, which seems very strange - how can I be that old? It just doesn't seem possible and I don't FEEL that old (okay, maybe once in awhile, but not that often!).  Anyway, I had a fun day at work with flowers and presents and kids singing to me, etc., and then went out this evening to celebrate with friends.  However

A belated Happy Birthday. What a great present.

I'm 59 going on 60. I'll be 60 next year. I don't feel old either. I enjoy life as much as I ever did, if not more, and mean to go enjoying it for a long time to come. I say, I have Númenórean blood flowing in my veins. I bet you do too. *g*
