What a day...
I celebrated my 50th birthday today, which seems very strange - how can I be that old? It just doesn't seem possible and I don't FEEL that old (okay, maybe once in awhile, but not that often!). Anyway, I had a fun day at work with flowers and presents and kids singing to me, etc., and then went out this evening to celebrate with friends. However, the best event of the day was a phone call I received from my mom this afternoon. My nephew and his wife had their baby girl this morning! So now I share a birthday with a great-niece! What a wonderful and special gift for me. She wasn't due until the 23rd so this was very early and so totally unexpected.
It was a very good day...
