I'm Finished!!!!!

I finally finished 'Life in the King's House', a sequel I've been working on for a year and a half!! I'm very excited as you can tell. :) The last few months it's been like pulling teeth to get the thing finished. I dearly love these characters, but I don't want to see them for a long time! Yay!!!! Absolutely fantastic! It always feels so good to finish a long story. I should do that more often :)

Yes, it does feel good, I highly recommend it! :) But, I've loved writing some of the short stories I've done recently. Those are very satisfying as well!

I'm so pleased for you, it must feel amazing to finish a magnum opus like that! I can't quite fathom what it will be like, lol -- though I look forward to the day when I can say the same. The long works really take up more than their fair share of time, don't they?

I hope you have some lovely times of writing shorter things ahead of you, and that the next long tale that begs to be written will wait its turn, hehe!

Thank you! It feels wonderful and yet I also feel at loose ends wondering what I should be doing. *grin* I've been so into those characters for such a long time that it seems strange not to sit down and write them.

But, I have pulled out these other things and stared at them a bit and my mind is starting to go, oh, yes, I remember that...

It does feel rather strange to be done with that story and those characters, but there won't be any extra time! I'm already planning my next stories and working on some unfinished ones I had on my hard drive. :)

Oh, some of the new stories will and some won't! :) I have a young Eomer and Eowyn planned next - I'm outlining it now, but Aragorn won't disappear from my stories for long!

I'm so happy for you - but more happy that the story turned out so wonderful! I will miss Thomas and Rebecca, it will be weird not having them lurking around, but I guess they are only a computer file away. =)
