January Reading Summary

(I know that it is still January 30th, and there is one more day left in the first month of 2011, but if I managed to finish anything else, I can just edit and add it later. )

Awww, The Little Prince! I remember loving that story as a child.

I also wish you luck with Animal Farm. I remember reading it in high school. Strange read. I think, if you don't have to take the time to analyze the political satire the story is a lot more rewarding, but that coupled with Lord of the Flies was hard to get through for me. I'm not real in to those kinds of books.

I vote for some Jonathan Swift if you haven't yet. For some reason, the twisted part of me just LOVES A Modest Proposal!

Ooh! Is 'A Modest Proposal' the one where he suggests the Irish solve their potato famine problems by eating their many children? Or somthing like that.. I vaguely remember it from my first year of uni, but I didn't actually read it properly. Once again, a case of having to study a novel sucking the fun out. I've still got my copy of it though, so I'll certainly give it another go! Thanks ;)
