One week shy of a year ago, the girls left the sink plugged and the water running full blast up stairs and it flooded the bath, the hall, and 2 bedrooms before it leaked down through the ceiling and ruined a bunch of the sheetrock. We survived the hurricane with no damage to our house or yard. Lots of leaves and smaller branches on the ground in our yard, but the neighborhood has several trees down and broken.

Power was restored yesterday evening. The girls and I left around noon to go to Midland to stay with family until services are back up and stores are re-opened. joroq ( Read more... )
