I keep trying to figure out where the year went. It seems like just yesterday we were Partaying for jferthesquirrel's wedding and creating the DPC - but we'll actually be coming up on her 1 year anniversary shortly :)

The Eyre Affair is the 1st of the Thursday Next series (2-4 on my list are the next ones). He also has another series which is the Nursery Crime novels - there's 2 of those.
As for RH - They gave us 2 great seasons, plenty of angst and ship to make any fangirl happily squee...but yeah, I think I'm going to put off watching all of the last episode till next weekend. I don't know if it was a matter of Lucy wanting out of the show or if it was the writers decision but even if she wanted out they could have stuck w/canon and sent Marian away into hiding. I get the death makes the whole Robin/Gisbon hate stronger for the 3rd season but *seriously* I could have lived without that much angst.

I'm having trouble picturing it too at this point. I'll obviously give it a try and see where they go with it but its just going to be very odd.
Its almost like DW without Rose for me. I didn't grow up watching the show so she was my first companion and its just not the same without her - much a I adore DT as the Doctor its kind of like watching a show with a piece of it missing.
Did you ever watch that cheesy (but cute and shippy) late-90s New Adventures of RH?
I've heard of it but I don't think I ever watched it. I googled it and nothing I was finding looked familiar so I'm going with No :)
