Is it really almost 2008??

I keep trying to figure out where the year went.  It seems like just yesterday we were Partaying for jferthesquirrel's wedding and creating the DPC - but we'll actually be coming up on her 1 year anniversary shortly :)

Christmas was good - had to work Christmas Eve (biggest waste of time ever - I think we were the only company in the building that was working fully staffed that day) then went to my Dad's.  Christmas day was spent with my mom's side of the family - minus my mom.  She's currently in Florida since her father fell in his condo and broke his thigh bone which then led to other complications and he spent a few days in ICU. But he's doing better and they transferred him to a rehab facility a few days ago.

Gifts were pretty uneventful for me as I just asked for money as I planned to buy a treadmill.  Did very well in the money department and have been comparing models and hopefully will have picked the one I want by the end of the week.  I did get a few books and dvd's from my dad as well as the new George Forman Grill with the 5 removable plates!

Speaking of books - I just discovered I haven't updated my 2007 book list since March.  Oops.

So last night I noticed that the Robin Hood communities on my flist went batshit crazy after the season finale aired.....people were not happy.  Of course I was patiently waiting for some kind soul to upload the episode so I could snag it but in the meantime my curiosity got the better of me and I had to look to see what happed

WTFBBQ!  They killed Marian!  Is that even allowed!  I mean seriously, how do you have Robin Hood without Marian!  Isn't there a rule somewhere that says your not allowed to kill off half of an legendary OTP.  I have not yet watched the entire episode but I did watch the ending as I had to see it with my own eyes *sobs*  My poor heart broke.  They're supposed to get married and live happily ever after, not get married as shes *dying*!    My brain can't even begin to process how this will effect season 3 at this point.  Not happy, just really not happy
