I'll certainly write them a letter. I really enjoyed yours: it was well-constructed, and presented the argument in a format sympathetic to the company. The only thing is...I don't know that all of it would be read. When the first letter-writing campaign began with messages to Paramount &co, I remember being told by someone (who I believe had had some sort of business working at such a place) that really, only about the first paragraph or so of our letters will be read before they're tossed aside. Obviously yours can't be shortened that much, and it would be fabulous if they could read it all. I'm just afraid it's going to come to that.
Even so, though, it's worth trying anyways, isn't it? :)

Yeah, it's been my big worry, that's why I'm hoping more people will write shorter letters, as they only need to be one paragraph. If mine doesn't work, then at least the others will have a better shot at, at least, directing them to Racebending.com.

Didn't classes just start? Seems kind of dead around here lol.

I think so. Though I find that odd because I have a Children Writing course where I am writing a children's book, have all these events backed up and I'm promoting a movie I help make...and I still find time here.

My only regret is that I cannot make it on Friday a lot of the time for chat.

Then again, I AM out of middle/high school. -,-;

Something like this is always good and thanks for pointing out who has the obligatory action figure contract. The TV show had already caught heat for the lack of a Katara or any female figure, so bringing that up along with the casting might be good as well. If we can draw a line, more people might perk up about it. Granted it's a different company, but if we can use prior instances as a launch pad, it couldn't hurt.

You mean talking to people about this, in general; or the letters? The thing about no katara is something I forgot about; not really sure how to add that into the letter I've written though.
