I think for your next h/c fest, you should do the scissors-in-neck fest. I think lots of plots could be drawn from this. Okay, maybe "freak accidents" would be a bit more general, but this is such a nice fic, there should be more of them. We could be the weird fandom with the scissors-in-neck trope that two years from now, no one will be able to quite explain.

I love how Peter translates his frustration into total sarcasm at everyone (except Neal). That felt so right.

Oh, wow. That's gotta be the king of freaky accidents. Poor Neal. And I love it how Neal trusts Peter completely with his life and doesn't even think of questioning anything Peter tells him to do \o/ As long as Peter is there, it's okay.

Loved it. Of all the freak accidents to happen, that's one of the freakiest. I loved it when Neal asked if there had been a scissors in his neck. I also loved Peter's response to the police officer asking him if that was his badge.

I have never poured more of myself into a character than Peter in this one - i swear, he reacts exactly as I would have, LOL. So happy you enjoyed it.

A lovely H/C story. The injury sounds horrible, don't blame the officer to arrest Peter, with all the blood. Poor Neal, poor worried Peter. Loved Peter sarcasm.

Love this, love the part where the highway patrol cop gets all ridic and thinks Peter stabbed Neal. Loved PEter's contained rage.
