Yesterday the Commission cinema club put on a showing of the RHPS. It was very very strange to see Brad, Janet and the rest up there on the screen and not be tipsy, not be throwing water/rice/toast, not be wearing newspapers, not be waving lighters, not be shouting any callbacks or dancing the timewarp, not be laughing dementedly at callbacks which

It sounds rather like how it is when you watch it by yourself, instead of with a large group of people.

Or am I the only person obsessive enough to do that? Hmm. Tis good when you are stressed - v calming, honest.

I think the only time I've ever watched it alone was the very first time I saw it - it's simply too joyous not to be shared!
For calming of stress I prefer Mel Brooks movies, especially The Producers and, of course, Robin Hood...
