:D Yes, indeed. Although possibly not quite as much at 5:30 a.m.

Love Satchmo as the Alarm Clock. ; )

Dogs basically are furry alarm clocks. :D They seem to see it as their major calling in life, along with announcing vociferously whenever someone comes to the door, in case you missed the bell.

Awwww, gotta love that particular alarm clock, even if you can't reset it!! :) :)

You reset it by taking it for a walk. :D Or a run, depending on how energetic you are. But he's certainly cuter than the bedside table model.

...and this is one of many reasons I do not have a dog. Poor Peter!

Nice fun use of touch! I debated giving you 'touch' considering you wrote the sense series, but figured you'd find a new way.

:D Poor Peter, indeed. I can't seem to stop picking on him. (See #21.)

Thanks! "Touch" actually had a lot of possibilities, but I veered sharply away from angst and romance. Some days I'm just not in the mood to write it...and anyway, I feel like light-and-breezy suits drabbles down to the ground. :)

So cute!

Dogs are oblivious to late-night stakeouts.

I suppose they are! I love the last line. What I expect from a drabble.

Thanks for sharing :)

Thanks for reading! :D And yes, dogs also don't understand moving, vacations, deadlines, headaches, or (sometimes) tornadoes. But we love 'em anyway.
