there was this girl in our maple story guild who had to quit playing because the company banned overseas people from connecting to its servers (she's from hong kong). she was really sweet, and we all missed her and wanted her to come back, but it turns out that after the maple lifted the IP ban, whatever ISP she has blocks her from connecting to US ( Read more... )

I had a really horrible day today, and seriously, this video and post was the only time I smiled and laughed today. I play Fiesta. I too understand the joy of MMOing. Although the only people I've met on there so far are 14-year-olds who 'LOL!!1!1!' at seriously EVERYTHING and this really annoying mage who keeps following me around trying to group with me even though I tell him no every time, due to a horrible experience dungeoning with him. He spent the whole time healing me even though I'm a healer, and not dealing any damage.

yeah, maple is a lot of annoying little kids, too, but i've managed to find a really great group of friends of varying ages who don't annoy the shit out of me.

i'm a healer too! STOP BEING MY TWIN, IT'S GETTING WEIRDDDD. but seriously, i stopped doing party quests when i was low leveled because my chat window would fill up with "CLERIC SPAM HEAL!!11!!@@@" and people would party me expecting me to follow them around and be their walking potion. lame.
