You flatter me!

I had a great time, actually. Even better than I was expecting.

I hope you were expecting something awesome, miss.

Well, how could I have not with the promises of sweets I was given (and which were duly met). I was just surprised that I actually liked everyone I spoke to - I'm usually much more misanthropic...

Yay for getting home safely! It was a bloody good event, well organised and so much fun. Everything worked a treat, and everyone was genuinely lovely.

Thanks for friending, and off the do the same (and read the comment from you that just popped up ;o). Hope to see you again next year, and in between if anything else pops up that all or some of us can get to. Whoohoo!

It really was well-organised, wasn't it? From my point of view, I especially liked that all the places we went were near to each other and to the station. It made everything so much easier.

Yay!

Oh, brilliantly organised. xanpet2000, justsue and peasant_ deserve many kudos. We'll probably shift the venue for next year to give those not south east-ish an easier trip, but the close proximity of the venues and station was a major plus point which it'd be great to replicate.

Re your comment to lilachigh, my flist consists almost entirely of slashers, and it's fabulous to have a bit more diversity. Lots of points of view just adds to the richness of fandom life. Excellent!

If we can have all that with cheap parking it would be perfect. :)

It was great to meet you and everyone else. I can't remember such a happy weekend - perhaps the champagne and chocolates helped! I'm rushing off to finish friending and read new friends' fic.

They were definitely a plus! I'm on such a buzz from meeting everyone (though I'm also flipping tired), if only because a lot of people I would probably never have friended if I hadn't met them (who knew a Spuffy shipper like me would get on with the slashers! ;D ).

But what about us poor gen writers?

You're great too! Just don't you start pooh-poohing my ship fic and lack of obscure characters and I won't pooh-pooh your lack of a certain vampire. ;)

Glad you got home okay. I did too, but it took bloody ages!

Blergh. I wouldn't be surprised if it were closer to you next time, though.

We'll see. I don't mind travelling if it makes it easier for other people.
