This was beautiful. I love that Will was able to see what he's missed and the awesome dynamic between Kurt and Burt and where Kurt gets his silent strength.

Thank you - I really wish he'd seen Rose's Turn because it really stripped Kurt of his defenses and was an awesome, awesome performance. I'm mentally justifying Kurt getting the Funk solo because of this. ^_~

I love you. I love you love you love you. I would give ANYTHING for Will to have seen Rose's Turn.

So would I - but I figured it made a good excuse of how Burt managed to see it, since I think it's kind of a weird place for him to just show up. Judging from Wheels (Dancing With Myself), the kids need permission to get into the auditorium, so it fits.

That was really heartwarming and adorable, great job! I was wincing at Will's thought process before Kurt started 'Rose's Turn,' but it was very IC from what we've seen of him on the show. Burt and Kurt's dynamic from Will's viewpoint was very interesting to read about. The Gypsy quote at the beginning was perfect; again, wonderful job!

It's kind of hard to write Will, because the show tries to make him into super teacher, but he's really not. Will doesn't always have a realistic view of himself - it's only after 4 Minutes in the Madonna ep that he is forced to see how much the other kids are upset by his blatant favoritism. Not that his favoritism isn't understandable - Finn is his own little Gary Stu and Rachel is Rachel. I think Will is very human.

Glad you liked the quote - I love Gypsy, so it was fun another part of the musical for the title and lead, since Rose's Turn comes from it.

I love this - everyone is totally in character. Especially love the line about Will wanting to be one of the 'awesome' teachers and realising quite how badly he was failing. If only this was canon!

It's kind of my headcanon now? Kurt does seem to have a couple more solos after this ep (though I have to admit that 4 Minutes was probably what precipitated it).

Very glad you liked, thanks for commenting!

I adored this. I have more than a few issues with Will, and you neatly identified the heart of them in a very believable, in-character way. This was a great read.

<3 Thank you. I'm really pleased you like since I enjoy your work as well. Will has issues, but he's not evil. I still prefer Kurt and Burt, though.
