Drabble! Though the idea is tempting....

Um, east is against the path of the sun (or with the rotation of the earth), so you have to go WEST to stay in eternal day.

Aside from that, I loved all four drabbles! I especially like the way the Princes Tutu one is meta and story all wrapped into each other.

Princess Tutu is SUCH a fascinating meld of breaking the fourth wall, isn't it?

It's actually in the original manga (preview?? I guess). I didn't like it very much, because it turned it into comedy rather than the awesome thing that Death Note later became. But for Ryuk to use it is fantastic.

Totally agree that the pilot was LOUSY. But sometimes ideas can be borrowed... (And Ryuk thinks it's cheesy because the Death Eraser IS such a bit of deus ex machina...)

The Death Eraser was in the pilot... and for some reason, I fixated on it. It was REALLY BAD, actually...

I really like the XXXholic drabble and especially the Princess Tutu one. It's like a punch in the gut.

Thank you! I somehow like the idea of the fairytale being a trap in and of itself (for while I liked Rue, I really wish Ahiru had gotten a MUCH happier ending).
