So I've had the boxed set of season one of Supernatural for a while now and decided I'd had enough of Dad's frustration to find something to watch on TV on Thursdays and I grabbed the remote from him and started them on the Adventures of Dean and Sam Winchester: Monster Hunters

You are so lucky! I tried to get my parents to watch Supernatural, but they got bored and/or confused. :/

Over last summer, when I was up to my furry ears in convention prep, my boy was complaining that there was nothing interesting at my house to watch. I pulled season 1 off the shelf and popped it into the laptop. When you're doing nothing but cutting out and sewing funfur ears for HOURS, it does get boring. That got him hooked. He started borrowing the seasons and is farther ahead than I am, as I haven't seen any of season 6.

Also, it made him appreciate classic rock, which makes things way easier for the radio on road trips.

Haha, that's awesome. For me, it was the other way around. My mom watched from the beginning and I got into it later.
